People who have stressful childhood incidents are more likely have this personality disorder. Most of the sufferers have some bad experiences in their early hood life such as separation from dear ones, sexual exploitation, sexual abuse and many more. Not exactly, all sufferers tend to experience such cases, and not even people who have suffered these situations are bounded to have this personality disorder. It is a cause which may or may be a reason of having a borderline personality disorder.

Individual symptoms of borderline personality disorder are sensitive and reactive behaviors which sufferer usually shows to their friends and family members. Mostly, they feel loneliness, acute angriness and some time they may feel more energetic. A person suffering from this disorder may have identity issues, they may not know themselves, or not have their self image.

People with symptoms of borderline personality disorder might get close to others which are caring and loving; it might be possible that sufferer share their personal things to others and ask for more time to stay with them. They start admiring others to be an important part of their life.

Anxiety, acute anger and depression sometimes lead them to self destruction; they may harm themselves or may try to suicide. People suffering from this personality disorder have symptoms like drastic change in behavior etc. At a moment, they are very happy and full of life, another second, they get depressed and sad or it may happen that they become aggressive and start abusing and fighting physically. There are sudden changes in their behavior thus it can be said that there is no surety that a person will behave good or aggressively.

At last, it can be concluded that symptoms of borderline personality disorder are many as discussed above. If any one of the symptoms is present in any person’s behavior, he/she most likely has a borderline personality disorder.
